the gender part maybe 85% male and 15% female because it has a few strong male characters so there would more males watching this than females and because of the violent scene in the movie.

the target audience had a higher percentage of males because as there were strong male characters and women don't like violence so this would be a reason why there is a higher percentage of males than females. the age rating in the UK was a 12a so children at the age of 12 and above may like to watch this movie. but I don't think people above the age of 65 would like to watch this because they may not understand what is going.some of the other movies people would enjoy would be Jupiter Ascending, District Nine, Mad Max fury road and many more these are all the movie which have a similar story line as pacific rim.
